Nick Finzer Releases New Jazz Trombone Album
Nick Finzer and fellow Juilliard grad, pianist Chris Ziemba, team up to bring standards and originals to a new light. An interactive chamber jazz setting allows Finzer and Ziemba freedom to explore and create a sound much bigger than the two of them. After years together in NYC, Finzer finds himself teaching at the University of North Texas, and Chris Ziemba in the Airmen of Note (The premiere Jazz Ensemble of the U.S. Air Force)! This latest iteration of the duo is the third album and explores both original music and standards while each delves into a new chapter of their careers.
